Before moving into documentary filmmaking and creative direction, I spent nearly a decade as a working journalist covering science, environment, technology, education, and coastal communities around Central California. Journalism remains the foundation of my storytelling practice—an approach grounded in curiosity, careful observation, narrative structure, and a commitment to helping audiences understand complex subjects.
